Q: Who runs the Mart?
A: The BillieRayMart is owned by Billie herself, and is based in Berlin. It
is run for BRM by Johanna (johanna@billieraymartin.com),
and is designed and maintained by Philip (philip@billieraymartin.com).
Q: What currency is the Mart in?
A: PayPal now makes it able
for us to charge in Billie's 'local' currency, the
Euro (€) so to keep things simple we are charging
everything in Euros. Each product page has a link
to a currency converter, so you can find out how
much
you are spending there.re.
Q: What are the Shipping prices?
A: There are two price structures: one for Europe and one for the rest of the
world.
Europe:
up to €9.99: P+P €5.00
€10.00 - €49.99: P+P €9.00
€50.00 - €99.99: P+P €14.00
€99.00 and over: P+P €25.00
Rest of the World:
Prices as above, but each individual item bought carries an additional €6.00
handling charge.
Q: Why is the postage so
expensive.
Postage in general is horrendously expensive and German post is about one third
more than the rest of European post. We lose a lot of money each month because
we've calculated postage well below the amount it actually costs and the packaging
that assures your BRM product arrives to you in pristeen condition is not cheap.
Just to give you an example: we pay $8 dollars to send one record to Europe
(we get only $7 at the mo and we pay for most of the packageing ourselves );
we pay $12 to send one record to the states etc (we get $12 at the mo and pay
for all packageing ourselves). So as shitty as this is we can't charge less.
Q: Why do people outside
of Europe pay €6.00 extra per item?
A: We have to charge extra to cover the higher shipping charges. If you live
outside of Europe and try to buy via the European Mart, you will be contacted
and asked to pay the postal supplement, so please make sure you are in the

Q: Why does the Shipping charge not appear in the
Checkout?
A: This is due to an anomily in PayPal's shopping
script. You will be charged postage as stated above.
Q: If I shut the pop-up checkout window, will my
order be lost?
A: No. If you are logged in your purchases will remain
in the cart until you go to buy them. You can click
the pop-up window shut without losing your order.
Q: What if I want to exchange an item I've bought
in the Mart?
A: Due to limited manpower we cannot exchange things.
